In Hörnum, exactly three houses were built directly into the dunes next to the beach crossing. And this flat is the front flat in the front of the three houses. The flat is on two floors.
From the upper floor, the view goes over the dunes to the sea on the west side. Here you can hear the waves thundering onto the beach when the wind blows from the west.
Downstairs you will find the living room with a small but fully equipped kitchen and beautiful views of the sea and the dunes.
From the balcony (south) you can look over the Budersand golf course and see the Wadden Sea behind it.
Furthermore, you will also find the master bedroom with electrically adjustable slatted frames and right next door you will find the bathroom with a shower.
Upstairs you will find two 90 x 200 cm bunk beds, which have been cosily built into the furniture under the sloping roof.
The flat is located in the Kressen-Jacobs valley in Hörnum. There, three houses were really built into the dunes. And the front flat in the front house, really in the middle of the dunes is this flat.
If you love nature on Sylt, Hörnum is the right place for you. There are no crowded beaches here. Even in the high season, it is enough to walk a few hundred metres from the beach crossing to the sides and you will have your peace and quiet.
Surfers and kitesurfers walk directly next to the flat over the jetty to the west beach or walk about 15 minutes to the east side to kite in the east wind in front of the Möwennest.
In the master bedroom you will find a comfortable double bed with electric slatted frames and intervertebral disc mattresses. Next door you will find the shower room
Upstairs on the maisonette, after the renovation (January 2018), you will find two bunk beds that have been built into the sloping roof in a very cosy way. In addition, a new favourite place to read with an incomparable view and a second TV, in case there are any arguments on the big TV downstairs.
You will also find a small, second shower room with toilet upstairs. This also helps against quarrels and stress on holiday.
Hörnum is the sunny south of Sylt. If you need the hustle and bustle of Westerland, Hörnum is the wrong place for you. But if you want to enjoy nature, the beach, the sea and the dunes without the crowds, this is the place for you. Directly next to our house, a footbridge leads through the dunes and then you are already on the wonderful sandy beach. From here, you can walk to Zanzibar in 90 minutes and then take the bus back. Or if you want to take a more athletic approach, you can even walk along the beach to Westerland in 4 hours. In the other direction, after a few hundred metres you are in the "Odde" nature reserve. This gets smaller every year, but is still a dream. The flat is also a dream for kitesurfers. You can quickly get to the west side via the jetty and to the east side you can simply ride your bike or skateboard through the nature reserve to the "Möwennest". If you prefer walking to skateboarding with your kite equipment, then walk for about 12 minutes. ATTENTION: The flat was completely renovated and painted in January 2018. It may therefore still smell slightly of paint in February 2018.
